Crosses with hetero ebony
Hetero-ebony could be called a partial phenotype of homo-ebony. While a homo-ebony is usually evenly black all around the body, hetero-ebonies can differ from even black to dark black on back and head and lighter on the flanks, to nearly standard. This is still the case when they are combined with other mutations. In the table below only gene symbols for the relevant mutations are given.
